3114 - Ultra Dense 3U Blade Server

Accommodates up to 14 independent Intel® Xeon™ Server Blades in a single 3U chassis delivering 196 servers in a standard 42U high rack - more than 4 times what is currently available using 1U servers. The 3114 also integrates dual Gigabit Ethernet switches and dual Management blades without taking any additional rack space.

Based on Intel's LV Xeon™ processor, each server blade is extremely power efficient - yielding a direct saving in data-centre power, air conditioning and UPS costs.

There is a choice of either a dual Intel® Xeon™ processor Server Blade or dual AMD Opteron 240HE processor Server Blade. The 4010 also integrates dual Gigabit Ethernet switches and dual Management blades without taking any additional rack space.

With a choice of both single and dual Intel LV Xeon™ processor or AMD Opteron 240HE processor based Server blades, the 4010 provides ultimate configuration and scalability options. Multiple different operating systems can co-exist within a server chassis and Server blades can be mixed and matched to provide the best choice of price / performance.
